VERNON, VT (MyKeeneNow) A major drug investigation led by the Vermont State Police culminated in the arrest of three people Thursday, including a Vernon woman now facing multiple felony charges connected to fentanyl and cocaine trafficking in Windham County.

Law enforcement officers from several agencies executed a search warrant at a Silver Lane home in Vernon, recovering approximately 73 grams of fentanyl, 45 grams of crack cocaine, and a firearm, according to state police.

Jennifer Peduzzi, 54, of Vernon; Damar Ausby, 40, of Bridgeton, N.J.; and Antwan Brown, 33, of New Britain, Conn., were taken into custody without incident. Investigators allege the trio played key roles in distributing fentanyl and cocaine in Vernon, Brattleboro, and Putney, following a months-long probe that utilized confidential informants.

Peduzzi was arraigned Friday in Windham Superior Court, where she faced seven felony charges, including trafficking fentanyl, possession of cocaine, and possession of a firearm during a felony. She was ordered held on $50,000 bail at Southern State Correctional Facility.

Ausby, accused of multiple sales of fentanyl and cocaine and facing over a dozen charges including trafficking and conspiracy, was also held on $50,000 bail. Brown, who faces charges of cocaine possession and firearm possession during a felony, was ordered held on $10,000 bail.

All three suspects are scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
