KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A familiar face within the Dartmouth Health system is taking on a new role at Cheshire Medical Center.

Todd Roberts, MBA, has been appointed as the hospital’s chief financial officer, stepping into the position on April 28, according to a news release. He succeeds David Gross, who served in the role for a year.

Roberts arrives in Keene after more than a decade in leadership at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, where he served as vice president and CFO. His earlier positions at the same facility included controller and director of financial services. Before that, he worked as a financial analyst at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor, VT.

Cheshire Medical Center President and CEO Dr. Joseph L. Perras praised the new hire’s approach and readiness. “We are thrilled to welcome Todd to our leadership team at Cheshire Medical Center,” Perras said in the release. “He brings a wealth of experience in hospital finance to the role and has hit the ground running in Keene.”

Roberts holds an MBA in organizational leadership from Southern New Hampshire University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont.

While Roberts is new to Cheshire, he said he’s already impressed by the culture and commitment he’s encountered. “The dedication and commitment demonstrated by the staff in serving the community is something that I admire and look forward to being part of,” he said. “Ensuring financial sustainability and growth is crucial to provide a positive impact on the community we serve.”

As CFO, Roberts will oversee the hospital’s financial operations and planning, working in coordination with other Dartmouth Health leaders to support the organization’s long-term stability and strategic growth.
