SWANZEY, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Meet Tucker, a gentle 9-year-old husky mix with a calm spirit and a heart full of love. After his previous owner fell ill, Tucker found himself at Monadnock Humane Society—still hopeful for a peaceful new beginning.
Tucker is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows his basic commands like a champ. He’s lived with kids and other dogs and done well with both, though his ideal home would be quiet, low-key, and full of cozy naps and kind companionship. He’s not into hustle and bustle—he’d much rather enjoy a slow walk, a soft bed, and a few tasty treats with his favorite humans.
Tucker enjoys car rides and has a good “alert bark” to let you know if someone’s at the door. While he’s had some resource guarding behavior in the past, the shelter hasn’t seen that here. He’s simply a sweet senior boy ready for his next chapter and a soft landing.
If you’re looking for a loyal, mellow companion with a gentle soul, Tucker just might be your perfect match.
