SWANZEY, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Meet Django, a 5-year-9-month-old Siberian husky mix who’s looking for a fresh start! Django is a loving and vocal boy who’s had a lot of changes in his life recently, and now he’s hoping to find a calm and loving home where he can feel safe again. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and walks nicely on a leash (though he’ll let you know if he sees another dog!). Django knows basic commands like sit, lay down, speak, and paw, and his love for cheese will definitely catch your attention.
This sweet boy would do best in a home as the only pet, where he can relax and not be overwhelmed by other animals. He’s been around cats and kids, though he prefers a quieter environment, and he’d be most comfortable with children aged 12 and older. Django is currently on anti-anxiety medication to help him adjust, so he’ll need some time to settle in. Once he’s comfortable, he’s ready to snuggle, give kisses, and enjoy all the love you have to offer.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little patience and understanding, come meet Django! He loves to run in a fenced yard, swim on warm days, and be close to his people.
Visit Django during open hours:
