FRANCESTOWN, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Three young men were killed late Tuesday night when their car struck a utility pole and overturned on Route 47 in Francestown, according to a news release from New Hampshire State Police.

Troopers said they were called to the scene on Bennington Road around 11:10 p.m. Monday, where they found a 2013 Ford Focus that had gone off the right side of the road and hit a telephone pole before continuing along the shoulder and rolling onto its roof.

All three occupants were ejected from the vehicle and were pronounced dead at the scene. State Police identified them as Aiden Brissette, 19, of Bennington, and Seth Fowler, 19, and Luis Torres, 18, both of Antrim. All were recent graduates of ConVal High School.

Route 47 was closed for about five hours while crews repaired downed wires and investigators documented the crash site. The road reopened around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Francestown Fire Department and Peterborough Fire & Rescue assisted State Police at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Kevin Gazlay at 223-4381 or by email at Kevin.J.Gazlay@dos.nh.gov.
