KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A beloved holiday tradition is back to help local families in need. The annual Good Friends Campaign, a partnership among Savings Bank of Walpole, Monadnock Media Group/KNE-FM, and Douglas Cuddle Toys, will launch Friday, Nov. 14, with a live radio broadcast from the bank’s Rindge branch at 31 Sonja Drive.
This year’s campaign will once again raise money for Feeding Tiny Tummies, The Community Kitchen, and the Keene Housing Kids Collaborative—three organizations dedicated to supporting children and families throughout the Monadnock Region.
During the holiday season, every Savings Bank of Walpole location will sell “Good Friends” plush animals, donated by Douglas Cuddle Toys. Each stuffed animal costs $10, and every dollar collected will go directly to the three nonprofits.
“These organizations do incredible work helping families and children thrive,” said Danielle Ruffo, Vice President of Community Engagement and Marketing at Savings Bank of Walpole. “This campaign truly captures the spirit of the holidays—neighbors, businesses, and nonprofits working together to make a difference.”
The effort continues a long-standing collaboration between the local bank, the radio group, and the Keene-based toy company, combining hometown creativity, generosity, and media support to make a community-wide impact.
Savings Bank of Walpole, with assets of $825 million, offers a full range of financial services and is part of NH Mutual Bancorp. More information about the bank and its community programs can be found at www.walpolebank.com.
