KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Emergency crews responded to a first-alarm fire reported shortly after 8:25 a.m. at 136 Arch St., the location of Langdon Place, an assisted and senior living community that includes specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s disease. Fire officials indicated the blaze is believed to be within the building’s walls.

An update issued just after 8:50 a.m. stated that several mutual aid departments had been released from the scene, while units from Chesterfield and Surry remained on standby to provide coverage.
