Parker Raymond Drown, 71, of Swanzey, passed away quietly and unexpectedly surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, July 3, at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene.
He was born to the late Kathryn (Andrews) and George Drown, on November 8, 1952, in Berlin, N.H. He was educated at Merrimack County High School in Penacook, N.H. He also attended trade school for building in Manchester, N.H.
On August 6, 1971, Parker exchanged vows with his loving wife, Barbara, in Concord New Hampshire they had a simple service with family and friends celebrating them.
Parker enjoyed his career as a builder and carpenter, working for Schaal Givins. He had a strong work ethic and took great pride in his work.
Although he enjoyed his work, he was happily retired and got to enjoy his other interests which included travelling, biking, playing horseshoes, trips to the casino, drinking margaritas, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with his friends, family, and grandchildren.
He was forever committed to his family and is survived by his wife, Barbara Drown of Swanzey; his children, Jamie Drown and his wife, Jane, of Chino, CA; and Kelly-Jo Warner and her husband, Johnathan, of Swanzey; his grandchildren, Austin, Brayden and Caroline Drown; Morgan Chamberlain; Madisyn and Daidrien Aho; Kayden Warner and Summer Chamberlain; and his sister, Sharon Lowe of Randolf.
Parker was a loving husband, father, papa, and friend to so many. He will be deeply missed.
