KEENE, NH – The Monadnock United Way is set to officially kick off their annual fundraising campaign – Imagine What We Can Do Together.
The MUW is looking to raise $1,518,000 during this year’s campaign that all gets invested directly back into the community. The fundraiser runs all year, but MUW President Liz Larose said the main push always begins in September and runs through New Years.
The campaign will officially kick off Wednesday evening with an event at The Colonial Theater Showroom with campaign co-chairs Chris Coates, Larry Monson, and Rose Novotny.
“We’ll learn about the importance of achieving this year’s goal, celebrate our successes, and recognize some inspirational individuals and organizations, and present the 3rd annual Ken Jue Award,” Larose said in an update to supporters Tuesday. “It will be time well-spent!”
The event will be held in person and will be livestreamed on the MUW’s Facebook and YouTube pages. It begins promptly at 5:30 Wednesday evening. For more information and to donate, visit MUW.org.
