(MyKeeneNow)Vikram Mansharamani, Republican candidate for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District, joined WKBK’s Dan Mitchell on the Open Mic program Wednesday to share his vision for the country and his reasons for entering the race.

Mansharamani, an outspoken critic of career politicians, explained that he’s running for Congress because he believes Washington, D.C. is dysfunctional, weighed down by entrenched bureaucrats and career lawmakers. His platform focuses on restoring balance and unity in America by promoting term limits, which he says will introduce fresh ideas and perspectives into both Republican and Democratic ranks.

He emphasized that competence should be prioritized over age, particularly when discussing the judiciary. Mansharamani argued against implementing age limits for Supreme Court justices, insisting that their ability to perform is more important than their age.

The conversation also delved into the impact of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI). Mansharamani expressed optimism about the potential of AI to revolutionize industries such as radiology, improving accuracy and efficiency. While acknowledging concerns over automation and job losses, he pointed out that many businesses are already facing worker shortages and that new technologies could drive the creation of new industries and jobs.

Throughout the interview, Mansharamani returned to his key themes: the need for fresh leadership, practical solutions in politics, and a thoughtful approach to the challenges and opportunities presented by AI.
