KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Authorities are investigating a collision between a snowmobile and a motor vehicle that occurred Saturday afternoon at a trail crossing in Keene.

The crash took place at just after 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of Ash Brook Road and a snowmobile trail, according to a news release from the N.H. Fish and Game Department.

Molly Thompson, 37, of Keene, was riding a snowmobile with a youth passenger when she attempted to cross the road, the release said. Her vehicle was struck by a car driven by Michelle Young, 39, also of Keene.

Officers from the Keene Police Department, New Hampshire State Police, and New Hampshire Fish and Game responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.

Authorities have not announced any citations or charges related to the crash. The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department is reminding motorists and snowmobilers to use caution at trail crossings, operate within their limits, and remain aware of potential hazards.
