KEENE, NH – New Hampshire State Police say a medical emergency may have led to a fatal crash in Greenfield on Monday.

According to a news release from NHSP Troop B, Troopers responded to a report of a single motor vehicle crash on Forest Road around 5:20 Monday morning, where they found a Ford F-150 on its side.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the driver, identified as Michael Jon Tatro, 57, of Antrim went off the roadway and struck a tree before the truck rolled over onto its passenger side.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, but police believe that Tatro may have suffered a medical emergency behind the wheel leading up to the crash.

Tatro was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has any further information is asked to contact Trooper William Moran at William.J.Moran@dos.nh.gov, or State Police dispatch at 603-223-4381.
