KEENE, NH – A Nor’easter two weeks ago prompted many local towns and school districts to postpone their town meetings to this Tuesday, March 28th.

The towns of Swanzey and Roxbury still moved forward with their voting/meetings on March 14th during the storm, along with the Monadnock Regional School District.

Some towns have held their meetings intermittently between the 14th and this Tuesday, when several districts and towns are scheduled to hold their meetings and voting.

The Town of Winchester and the Winchester School District decided to postpone their election until March 28th. Voting will still be held at the Winchester School from 8am to 7 pm that day.

Sullivan Town and school elections were also postponed to the 28th. Polls will be open from 11 am to 7 pm at town hall.  The town of Langdon postponed until the 28th as well.

The Keene School District also moved their elections to March 28th in the following locations…
Chesterfield: 10 am – 7pm, Chesterfield School
Harrisville: 11 am – 8 pm, Wells Memorial School. Annual school business meeting at 6 pm, town business meeting 7 pm
Keene School District: 7:30 am – 7 pm, Keene Recreation Center
Marlborough: 1 pm – 9 pm, Marlborough School, town meeting 7 pm
Marlow: 11 am – 7 pm, John D. Perkins Academy
Nelson: 11 am – 7 pm, town hall
Westmoreland: 11 am – 7 pm, town hall

The ConVal Regional, Fall Mountain Regional, Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative and Winchester school districts will vote at the same time and location as town elections, however Peterborough’s town meeting will be held in May.

Traditional town meetings are slated for Marlborough, Harrisville, Langdon, and Acworth. Meanwhile voters in Alstead, Charlestown, Rindge and Winchester will vote on town and school warrants on one ballot.

The Hinsdale School Board is holding a work session Tuesday evening at 6 pm in the SAU conference room to discuss a budget reduction.

In Keene, the City Council was forced to postpone their full council workshop on the Downtown Reconstruction project. That has been rescheduled for this Wednesday March 28th in Council chambers at 6 pm. It will be livestreamed on the city’s website and YouTube channel, and on Spectrum channel 1302.
