KEENE, NH – This week’s Nor’easter certainly took its toll on the region as some residents just got their lights back on Friday morning, but the snow is also prompting the Keene Public Works Department to delay the resumption of the Winchester Street Reconstruction project.
Spring will officially arrive on Monday and the department planned to waste no time this construction season and get to work on the project, but the storm pushed out the re-mobilization date by one week, and work will now begin on Monday March 27th.
Crews are working to update message boards around town to remind drivers of the new date.
More information will be provided next week once the 2023 construction schedule is finalized. Anyone with questions should contact the department.
