KEENE, NH – Nationally ranked, Little East Conference Champions Keene State College Men’s basketball has hosting duties this weekend for the NCAA DIII men’s basketball championship for the 2nd year in a row.

The Eastern University Eagles, The College of New Jersey Athletics, and Marymount University will all travel to Keene for their first and second-round games this weekend.

Keene had hosting duties last year as well and advanced to the Sweet 16, defeating both Baruch and Tufts, eventually falling to Swarthmore in the sectional semifinals at Tarble Pavillion. The Owl’s finished their record-breaking 2023 season at 28-2.

First round games are set for Friday. Eastern will battle TCNJ at 3:45, followed by Keene State and Marymount at 6:15. Friday’s winners will advance to the second round, again at Spaulding Gymnasium, on Saturday.

Tickets for Friday’s game go on sale Tuesday afternoon at 4 pm. They’re only available to purchase online at keeneowls.com/tickets, and a limited number are available for Keene.

“Part of the obligation of hosting is to make approximately one-third of the tickets available to the other three participating schools, then the remainder go to us,” Associate Athletic Director Abe Osheyack said. “So there will be a limited number of tickets, probably about five to six hundred available today.”

More information about the tournament will be available at Keeneowls.com as it progresses.
