KEENE, NH – Two people are in custody following a months-long police investigation into the sale of drugs in the Keene area.

According to a news release from the Keene Police Department, officers executed a search warrant at 297 Water Street Wednesday evening where they arrested Donald Jamison, 33, of Springfield Massachusetts.

In addition to the arrest, police also seized suspected cocaine and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. In total about half a pound of cocaine/crack was seized in the investigation.

Also located at the residence was Jeoffrey Majoy, 34, of Keene who was arrested on outstanding warrants from several agencies.

Both Jamison and Majoy are being held at the Cheshire County House of Corrections pending arraignment Thursday afternoon at 1:00.

Keene police say the investigation began as part of Operation Granite Shield, which is a state-funded intitiative targeting ilicit drug distribution across the state.
