CHESTERFIELD, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) State and local authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a Chesterfield man who went missing Monday evening and may be in danger due to a medical condition.

According to the New Hampshire State Police, 78-year-old Robert Clay was last seen around 8 p.m. Monday at his home on Glebe Road. Officials say he is believed to have left the residence on foot, but it’s unclear which direction he may have gone.

Clay is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 155 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, white sneakers, and glasses. Police noted that it’s unknown whether he was wearing a shirt at the time he disappeared. He may also be wearing a watch that includes his contact information.

Clay has been diagnosed with dementia, prompting law enforcement to issue a Silver Alert — a special notification system used when older adults with cognitive impairments go missing and may be at risk.

Anyone who sees Robert Clay or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact New Hampshire State Police at 223-4376.
