KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – A bicyclist was injured following a crash early Saturday morning in Keene.
According to a news release from the Keene Police Department, the crash occurred on West Street around 2:45 a.m. and involved a 2010 Toyota Tundra and a bicycle.
The bicyclist was identified as James LaPoint, 48, of Keene. He was taken to the hospital with severe but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was identified as Benjamin Mazzoni, 24, of Londonderry, New Hampshire. Police didn’t say if he was injured in the crash.
Following an investigation Mazzoni was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) and later released on personal recognizance bail. He’s scheduled to appear in court on November 25th.
