BRATTLEBORO, VT (MyKeeneNow) A quick police response led to the arrest of a local man following a late-morning bank robbery on Wednesday.

At about 11:30 a.m., officers were called to Brattleboro Savings and Loan on Putney Road for a report of a robbery in progress. Within 20 minutes, police located and arrested 40-year-old Michael J. Howe of Brattleboro in the surrounding area.

Authorities confirmed that no injuries occurred during the incident or the subsequent arrest. The case is being handled by the Brattleboro Police Department.
