WALPOLE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Emergency crews responded late Wednesday morning to a reported traumatic injury involving a gunshot wound at Jiffy Mart on Main Street in Walpole, according to emergency dispatch information.

The incident was reported shortly before 11 a.m. Initial reports indicated a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Due to the severity of the injury, air medical transport was requested.

An update from emergency officials confirmed that DHART was en route to the helipad at Cheshire Medical Center to assist with the patient’s transport and treatment.
