KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Cheshire Medical Center is offering a series of flu vaccine clinics this fall for its established patients across multiple locations, including its main campus in Keene and satellite offices in Walpole and Winchester. The clinics will require appointments, which can be scheduled either online or by contacting patients’ primary care providers.

In Keene, the drive-thru clinic will be held on Saturday, October 19, at the hospital’s 580 Court Street location. Appointments for this clinic can be made through the patient portal, myDH.org, or by calling the relevant provider’s office. Those who need to reach the Keene location directly can call 603-354-6760, while patients in the Maple Avenue area can call 603-354-6900.

Cheshire Medical’s Walpole Family Medicine clinic at 11 Westminster Street will offer flu vaccines on Tuesday, October 22, from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Meanwhile, the Winchester Family Medicine office at 20 Warwick Road will hold a clinic on Thursday, October 24, from 8 a.m. to noon. Patients at these locations can schedule their appointments by contacting the respective offices at 603-756-3960 for Walpole and 603-239-6351 for Winchester.

The clinics will offer standard flu vaccines for individuals aged 6 months and older, as well as high-dose vaccines for those aged 65 and up. In addition to the scheduled clinics, Cheshire Medical provides several other ways for patients to receive their flu shots, including through walk-in visits at the hospital’s retail pharmacy and during routine primary care or specialty appointments.

For those unable to attend the flu clinics, Cheshire Medical encourages patients to take advantage of their primary care or pediatric visits to receive the vaccine, or to visit local pharmacies offering flu shots.
