KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – The City of Keene is offering the community a new way to stay informed.

During this week’s City Council meeting City Manager Elizabeth Dragon announced that she’s piloting a new podcast with the city’s A/V Production Specialist Asah Cramer “City of Keene, In Focus”.

According to a brief introduction on the podcast’s website, the aim of the podcast is to make the goings-on of city government more accessible for those who are not able to attend City Council meetings.

“Basically, we’re going to be recapping the latest City Council meetings, we’re going to be diving into key issues that matter throughout city, we’re going to be mentioning city events that are coming up, and we’ll be highlighting job opportunities,” Cramer said. “We’re hoping that this is super flexible for people so that you can tune in whenever, wherever, wherever you find your podcasts normally.”

The first episode debuted on November 8th and features a recap of the November 7th City Council meeting.

Dragon told WKBK that she and Cramer recorded the second episode Friday afternoon. Cramer said it will be available on the website within the next few days.

The podcast is available at cityofkeeneinfocus.podbean.com, on all major podcasting platforms, and at keenenh.gov/podcast.
