WINCHESTER, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Traffic was slowed early Wednesday morning after a three-vehicle collision at the intersection of Keene Road and Kapper Drive in Winchester.

The crash, which occurred shortly before 6:45 a.m., involved a Honda Civic, Ford Escape, and Audi. According to Winchester Police Chief David Rice, the driver of the Civic was turning left onto Kapper Drive when the vehicle collided with the oncoming Escape. The impact pushed the Honda into a third vehicle—an Audi that had been waiting to enter Keene Road.

One person was transported to Cheshire Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Another declined medical treatment at the scene.

Emergency crews restricted the area to one-way traffic for approximately 45 minutes while first responders cleared the scene and began investigating the crash. Winchester Police were supported by Winchester Fire/Rescue, the Cheshire County Sheriff’s Department, and Cheshire EMS.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
