WINCHESTER, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A 52-year-old Derry, N.H. woman was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon when her vehicle rolled over on Manning Hill Road near the Massachusetts state line, according to emergency officials.

Fire and rescue crews responded to the crash around 12:15 p.m. and found an a 2015 Nissan Rogue overturned off the southbound side of the road. Firefighters extricated the driver from the vehicle before she was taken by ambulance to a nearby landing zone, where a medical helicopter transported her to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA.

The southbound lane of Manning Hill Road was closed for a period after the crash, with firefighters directing alternating traffic through the remaining lane. The road has since reopened, according to Winchester Police Chief David Rice.

Winchester emergency personnel received mutual aid from Northfield, MA, during the response.

Authorities have not released additional details about the cause of the crash, which remains under investigation.
