CHESTERFIELD, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A Sunday afternoon crash along Route 9 in Chesterfield left one woman dead and sent two others to the hospital with serious injuries, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Emergency crews responded shortly after 12:30 p.m. to the intersection of Route 9 and Wellington Drive, where a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder reportedly crossed into oncoming traffic and triggered a three-vehicle collision.

The driver of the Pathfinder, identified as 22-year-old Arreona Davey of Farmington, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two people in the second vehicle were taken to Cheshire Medical Center for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A third vehicle involved in the crash was carrying four people, none of whom required hospitalization.

Route 9 was closed for about four hours while authorities conducted an on-scene investigation. The crash is still under review by State Police, including members of the Crash Analysis and Reconstruction Unit.

Multiple agencies assisted at the scene, including first responders from Chesterfield, Spofford, Keene, and Hinsdale.
