CONCORD, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – A Harrisville man will spend nine years behind bars on charges of possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
According to charging documents on June 6, 2024, authorities executed a search warrant on the home, car, and electronics of Ryan Vallee, 31. During the search, law enforcement found a cell phone that contained four videos and 175 photos of CSAM, and an SD card that contained 11 videos of CSAM.
Vallee was on federal supervised release at the time following prior convictions in 2017 for interstate threats, computer fraud and abuse, aggravated identity theft, and cyberstalking.
Vallee pleaded guilty in April of this year to aiding and abetting the production of child sexual abuse material and was sentenced to 108 months in federal prison and five years of supervised release Monday. He was also ordered to pay $10,000 in restitution.
According to a news release from the Department of Justice, Vallee’s case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in 2006 to protect children from exploitation and abuse.
The Harrisville Police Department assisted the Department of Homeland Security, which led the investigation. The New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office, and the Belmont Police Department provided assistance as well.
