GOFFSTOWN, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) The Keene High School gymnastics team delivered stellar performances at the Goffstown High School Meet, finishing with many top ten placements across all events, including vault, bars, beam, floor, and the all-around (AA) competition.

The meet featured gymnasts from multiple schools, including powerhouse clubs like Pinkerton (146.45-1st) and Goffstown (133.0-2nd), with Keene (123.7-3rd) athletes standing out for their consistency and skill.

Keene’s vault competitors showed strong form, with Olivia Adams and Erin French both securing spots in the top ten. Erin French earned a tie for 9th place with a solid 8.4, while Olivia Adams followed closely in 10th place with an 8.3. Both gymnasts showcased their talent and demonstrated excellent execution and landings on their vaults.

The uneven bars were another standout event for Keene, where Olivia Adams again rose to the occasion. Adams earned a tie for 9th place with a score of 7.500.

Balance beam proved to be a challenging but rewarding event for Keene’s Olivia Adams scoring an 8.0 for a 9th place finish. Despite the challenges of this event, Keene gymnasts demonstrated impressive poise and control.

On the floor, Keene athletes brought their energy and precision to the stage. Erin French led the charge with a strong 9.0, finishing in 5th place. Olivia was right behind her with a solid 8.5, securing an 8th place finish. Their dynamic performances earned them high marks for artistry, creativity, and clean landings, showing off both athleticism and choreography.

In the all-around competition, where gymnasts are evaluated across all four events, Olivia Adams lead the Blackbirds with a 7th place finish with a score of 32.30. Erin French was close behind with a combined score of 31.50, securing 8th place overall. Both gymnasts showcased versatility, balancing solid routines across vault, bars, beam, and floor to make their mark in the all-around rankings.

Keene Gymnastics continues to show its strength in the competitive gymnastics scene and is in a solid position to qualify for the state championship. The lady blackbirds will be traveling to Gymnastics Village next Monday before finishing off their regular season at home on January 24th at 6pm at the Keene Family YMCA.
