The following is the list of Top 10 Keene High School students from the Class of 2024:
Jacob Friedman, valedictorian
A member of the chess club, swim team and tennis team, concert band and jazz ensemble (he played in the All-State Music Festival for four years), Jacob will attend Dartmouth College next year.
Beckley Wooster, salutatorian
A member of the Nordic ski team, track and cross-country teams, Interact Club, Student Athlete Leadership Council, class and student council, and team captain and president of the National Honor Society, Beckley will attend St. Lawrence University in upstate New York this fall to student environmental science and conservation biology.
Gavin Rigby
A pitcher for the Keene High varsity baseball team, Rigby will attend Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, where he’ll continue his baseball career and further his studies in the humanities and social sciences.
Evan Spindler
A member of the Keene High basketball and volleyball teams.
Cameron Quail
A member of the varsity hockey team (captain senior year), Interact Club (board of directors for two years), National Honor Society (vice president senior year), and Student Athlete Leadership Council, Cameron will attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., to study mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering.
Benjamin Greenwald
Interact Club president, member of the Student Athlete Leadership Council, National Honor Society, class council, Empowering Kids Collaborative, varsity golf team and varsity hockey teams, Benjamin will attend Boston College to study finance and accounting for finance and consulting.
Graham Ormerod
A member of the Keene High concert band and jazz ensemble, Graham will attend Williams College where he will study mathematics and economics.
Jack Cahill
Jack will attend Northeastern University this fall, where he’ll study physics at the Boston campus.
Ava Streed
A member of the soccer, track, Nordic skiing and cross-country teams; Envirothon, multicultural club and National Honor Society, Ava will attend the University of New Hampshire this fall to study environmental science and global studies.
Katherine Guo
A member of the Interact Club, student council and Spanish club, Katherine will attend Harvard College this fall, where she will study government.
