KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Keene High School athletes are gearing up for an action-packed week across multiple sports, with tournament play, key matchups, and exciting competition on the horizon.

Tuesday, Feb. 4

The week kicks off with the Coed Unified Basketball team competing in the NHIAA Tournament’s first round (time TBD). The boys’ and girls’ varsity cross-country skiing teams will race in the Concord Classic Sprint at Beaver Meadow starting at 2:30 p.m.

Basketball fans can look forward to several matchups, including:

  • Girls’ Freshman Basketball at Brattleboro at 4:15 p.m.
  • Boys’ JV Basketball at Trinity at 5:00 p.m.
  • Boys’ Freshman Basketball at Brattleboro at 5:30 p.m.
  • Girls’ JV Basketball hosting Trinity at 5:30 p.m.
  • Boys’ Varsity Basketball at Trinity at 6:30 p.m.
  • Girls’ Varsity Basketball hosting Trinity at 7:00 p.m.

The Coed Varsity Cheerleading squad will also take part in the evening’s events at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 5

Hockey action heats up with:

  • Boys’ Varsity Hockey traveling to Hanover for a 5:10 p.m. faceoff
  • Girls’ Varsity Hockey taking on Manchester Central at 6:25 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Coed Varsity Wrestling team will host Exeter at 6:00 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 6

The downhill ski teams will compete in a multi-school Giant Slalom event at Pats Peak, starting at 3:30 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 7

The NHIAA Unified Basketball playoffs continue (time TBD), while basketball teams face off against Nashua:

  • Girls’ JV Basketball at Nashua at 4 p.m.
  • Boys’ Freshman Basketball hosting Nashua at 4:15 p.m.
  • Boys’ JV Basketball hosting Nashua at 5:30 p.m.
  • Girls’ Varsity Basketball at Nashua at 5:30 p.m.
  • Boys’ Varsity Basketball hosting Nashua at 7 p.m.

The Coed Varsity Cheerleading squad will also take part in the evening’s events.

Saturday, Feb. 8

Saturday features a packed schedule with major tournaments:

  • Coed JV Wrestling at the Frontier Duals (8 a.m.)
  • Coed Varsity Wrestling at the MUA Tournament (8 a.m.)
  • Varsity Bowling competing in Raymond (9 a.m.)
  • Indoor Track Teams racing at Plymouth State for NHIAA events (10 a.m.)
  • Cross-Country Skiing Teams at Whitaker Woods for the NH Series Race #2 (10 a.m.)
  • Boys’ Varsity Hockey taking on Nashua at 7 p.m.
  • Girls’ Varsity Hockey traveling to Salem for a 7:10 p.m. matchup

Sunday, Feb. 9

The weekend wraps up with Boys’ JV Ice Hockey facing Londonderry at 4:40 p.m.
