KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Just weeks after being indicted for allegedly contaminating food at a local co-op, Kelli Tedford, 23, now faces a fresh set of charges stemming from a disturbing incident at a Keene hotel in January.

According to court documents released today, Tedford is accused of a series of bizarre acts in a hotel room at the Courtyard Marriott, including allegedly urinating on a comforter blanket, a Bible, curtains, and into an air conditioning unit. The filings also detail the shocking accusation that she defecated on the floor and placed feces in the toilet tank.

These five new counts of criminal mischief are misdemeanors, as authorities estimate the damage to be under $1,500.

This development follows Tedford’s February arrest and subsequent indictment for a felony charge of criminal mischief. That initial case involved allegations that she recorded herself using her urine to contaminate food items at the Monadnock Food Co-Op and posted the video online.

The Keene Police Department initiated their investigation into Tedford after receiving an anonymous tip regarding the disturbing online content. Authorities say videos dating back to 2021 suggest a pattern of similar incidents in Keene and surrounding communities.

Following the alleged grocery store contamination, the Monadnock Food Co-Op took swift action, removing affected products, sanitizing surfaces, and issuing a recall. They stated that their priority remains the health and safety of the community and confirmed with the Keene Health Department that no ongoing risks remain.

Tedford, who was released on personal recognizance bail in the grocery store case, is now scheduled for a bail hearing on April 28 to address these new allegations. The investigation remains active, and authorities indicate that additional charges may be forthcoming as they continue to review online content linked to Tedford.
