KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – The Keene Housing Kids Collaborative (KHKC) has announced new leadership appointments, and the launch of a family engagement initiative aimed at shaping programs for children in local housing communities.
The organization’s new officers include:
- Joanna Zambella, Chair (Owner, JZ Consulting Agency)
- Ben White, Vice Chair (Assistant Superintendent, SAU29)
- Saira Bacon, Treasurer (Co-Owner, Bacon & Alexander)
- Amy White, Secretary (Director of Administration, KeeneHousing)
Additionally, KHKC has welcomed five new board members, each bringing valuable expertise and a passion for supporting children:
- Patrick Dolenc, Professor of Economics, Keene State College
- Jillian Exel, Realtor, BH&G The Masiello Group
- Cheryl Belair, President, The Insurance Source
- Mick Blume, Director of Development & Community Impact, Keene Family YMCA
- Amy Wright, Director of Administration, Keene Housing New Family Engagement Initiative
KHKC has also launched the Building Futures Family Network, an initiative designed to elevate the voices of parents and guardians in shaping programs for children in Keene Housing properties, Southwestern Community Services properties, and Housing Choice Voucher households. The network will meet quarterly to provide feedback, share experiences, and help guide efforts to close opportunity gaps for children.
This initiative reinforces KHKC’s commitment to collaboration, ensuring that families are not just participants but active partners in creating brighter futures for their children.
