KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A Keene man is set to appear in court next month after a grand jury handed down four felony indictments accusing him of sexually assaulting a child over several months.
Prosecutors say 60-year-old Russell Eddy allegedly assaulted a child he knew during the summer of 2025. The allegations surfaced in mid-September, prompting Winchester police to arrest Eddy on Sept. 20. According to court documents filed by Officer Brianna Rogers, the child disclosed the alleged abuse two days before Eddy was taken into custody.
Eddy previously worked as a janitor for the Winchester School District, but investigators say the alleged incidents did not occur on school grounds. District officials placed him on leave shortly after the arrest.
In the affidavit, Eddy denied the accusations. He remains held at the Cheshire County jail and is expected to be arraigned on Dec. 10.
