KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – New Hampshire’s federal delegation welcomed a taste of the Granite State to Capitol Hill.
The New Hampshire State Society event “Experience New Hampshire” returned for the 13th year on Wednesday and exhibited a number of Granite State businesses and their products and services, including some local businesses.
“New Hampshire is home to some of the greatest small businesses in the country and this event provides an annual opportunity to showcase their diverse products and talents on a national stage,” Senator Jeanne Shaheen said in a news release. “Year after year I am blown away by the goods and services our small businesses bring to DC, thanks to the New Hampshire State Society, which helps make the event an annual success. From chocolate to hot sauce, these businesses will share our state’s entrepreneurial spirit and talent with folks in Washington.”
Some businesses in the Monadnock Region participated, including Echo Farm Puddings in Hinsdale, New England Sweetwater Farm & Distillery in Winchester, D. D. Bean & Son’s Company of Jaffrey, and Maple Nut Kitchen of Swanzey.
