ALSTEAD, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – A trail bike accident in Alstead left a local man seriously injured Tuesday.
The incident occurred on private property, according to a news release from N.H. Fish and Game, when 38-year-old Alex Stradecki was instructing young riders on how to operate a youth model trail bike.
During the lesson, Stradecki’s leg caught on the ground, resulting in a severe injury. New Hampshire State Police were notified of the accident, and the situation was investigated by conservation officers, who had just finished a rescue operation on Mount Monadnock.
Stradecki was promptly transported to Cheshire Medical Center, where he received treatment for his injuries. No other information was released.
