KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Photographers in the Monadnock Region have an opportunity to share their vision of the local community in the upcoming 2025 Community Calendar Photo Contest. Organized by Savings Bank of Walpole, the contest opens April 1 and runs through May 31, inviting submissions that highlight the natural beauty, landmarks, and unique character of the region.
Now in its seventh year, the contest continues to celebrate the local spirit by featuring winning images in the bank’s annual calendar. Selected photos may also appear on holiday cards, note cards, and other promotional materials. Contestants can submit up to 10 photographs for consideration, with each chosen entry earning a $100 cash prize.
Entries will be judged on factors such as image quality, subject matter, and how well they capture the essence of the community. Organizers encourage photographers of all skill levels to participate, emphasizing the importance of showcasing the region’s distinct charm through a local lens.
All submissions must be entered electronically through the bank’s website, where full contest details and guidelines are available. There is no cost to participate, and winners will be announced later this year.
Savings Bank of Walpole, which celebrates its 150th anniversary, continues to support the community through initiatives like this contest. More information on how to enter can be found at www.walpolebank.com/photocontest.
