MARLOW, N.H. – (MyKeeneNow)  A suspect state police had been searching for over the weekend has been found deceased.

Troopers from Troop C barracks discovered the body of Brian Roffer, 44, of Marlow, in a wooded area near his residence Sunday after responding to an incident on Route 10 Saturday, according to a news release.

Roffer was implicated in various offenses, including criminal threatening with a deadly weapon.

Throughout the investigation, law enforcement received information suggesting Roffer might be armed and alone in a heavily-wooded area. Troopers ensured the reported victims’ safety and obtained search and arrest warrants were for Roffer. After hours of searching, active efforts were suspended.
