KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Phil Wyzik, the CEO of Monadnock Family Services (MFS), will leave his position at the end of the year after more than a decade of leadership, the agency’s board of directors announced in a written statement Wednesday.

The board thanked Wyzik for his 12 years of leadership and his contributions to community mental health. “We are grateful for the community’s steadfast support of the local children and adults with serious mental health challenges who turn to MFS for help,” the statement read.

Wyzik, who has led the Keene-based mental health agency since 2012, will step down on Dec. 31.

Dr. Mindy Asbury, the agency’s chief medical officer, will serve as interim CEO until a permanent replacement is selected. Asbury also chairs the psychiatry department at Cheshire Medical Center, according to the board’s statement.

Monadnock Family Services, located on Avon Street in Keene, has providced mental health care in the Monadnock Region for over 100 years. The organization, with more than 200 staff members, serves 35 towns and operates additional offices in Peterborough and Jaffrey.

No further details about his departure were provided, nor about the search for Wyzik’s successor.
