(MyKeeneNow) Hospitals in the Monadnock Region have resumed normal operations following a global IT outage that disrupted services last Friday. The issue stemmed from a faulty update by cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, which caused widespread technical difficulties, leading to delayed care and postponed surgeries across the nation.

Cheshire Medical Center in Keene and other Dartmouth Health affiliates faced challenges with their medical dispensing units due to the outage. According to Dartmouth Health spokeswoman Cassidy Smith, the health system was fully operational by Monday, with all IT systems, including computers and related equipment, back online and all cases and appointments proceeding as scheduled.
