STODDARD, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – New Hampshire State Police are conducting an extensive search for a suspect in the communities of Stoddard and Nelson following a pursuit that ended with the suspect fleeing into a wooded area.

Police are searching for Patrick Allen Boyer, 39, who is wanted on felony-level charges, as well as charges related to criminal restraint and obstructing the report of a crime. Troopers have been attempting to locate Boyer since the evening of Wednesday, September 16.

According to state police, Boyer was spotted Thursday afternoon and became involved in a pursuit between Keene and Stoddard. The pursuit was discontinued due to public safety considerations.

State, county, and local law enforcement agencies continued searching the area and eventually located Boyer’s vehicle in Stoddard. Police say Boyer fled from the vehicle on foot into a wooded area.

Route 9 was closed for several hours as authorities conduct search operations. The road reopened shortly after 10:30 p.m. Thursday night.

Boyer is described as white, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a white undershirt, and dark pants.

Police believe Boyer could be armed and are warning the public not to approach him.

Residents in the Stoddard and Nelson areas are being asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity by calling 911.
