KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) This summer, Nova Arts is introducing a new pay-what-you-can ticketing initiative called Access for All, designed to make live music and arts events available to everyone—regardless of their ability to pay.
The program is being launched with financial support from the TD Charitable Foundation, which awarded Nova Arts a grant to help fund the effort, according to a news release.
The grant will directly support the costs associated with artist fees, production expenses, and staffing. This ensures that musicians, sound technicians, and support personnel are compensated fairly, even as traditional ticket revenue is reduced through the Access for All model, the release said.
Under the new system, attendees can choose how much they pay for tickets to any summer concert—ranging from the standard price to a self-selected amount, or even attending for free. The initiative aligns with Nova Arts’ ongoing mission to remove economic barriers to the arts and expand community participation in cultural programming.
Access for All ticket options are now available online at novaarts.org/events. After selecting a concert and clicking “Buy Tickets,” users can scroll to find the Access for All option and enter a custom amount. Only one ticket can be purchased at a time using this method. Guests may also contribute in cash at the door.
Standard-priced tickets will continue to be available, allowing those who can afford to pay the full amount to help support the program’s sustainability.
