KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) Park Avenue Deli & Market in West Keene has changed hands. Kylah and Chris Lent are the new owners, describing the purchase as “a dream come true” in a Facebook announcement. The Lents expressed excitement about serving the community and continuing the deli’s legacy.
The market was previously owned by Bobby Patel and his uncle, Babulal Patel, who acquired it in 2018 from Brian and Karen Cagney of Keene. The Cagneys had managed the store for more than a decade. Before that, the market operated as McLay’s under the ownership of Debbie and Harry McLay, who ran it for 16 years from 1990 to 2016.
The Lents’ acquisition marks the latest chapter in the deli’s long-standing history as a neighborhood staple.
