KEENE, N.H. – (MyKeeneNow) The Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship has received a $10,000 grant from New Hampshire Humanities for the organization of the 2024 Radically Rural summit.

This event, now in its seventh year, will be held in downtown Keene on Sept. 25 and 26.

The theme for this year’s summit, “Regenerating Rural,” will be examined through a keynote panel entitled “Regenerating Rural by Reweaving Our Frayed Social Fabric” and a screening of the documentary, “Join or Die.” These sessions will delve into the issue of America’s civic decline and showcase how rural “weavers” are working to rejuvenate their communities.

New Hampshire Humanities, dedicated to fostering a love of learning and promoting community involvement, supports this summit by bringing enriching ideas from the humanities to New Hampshire residents. More details can be found at www.nhhumanities.org.

The keynote panel on Sept. 25 at 9 a.m. is free and open to everyone. Interested individuals can register https://registration.socio.events/e/radicallyrural2024
