KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) After more than 15 years of dedicated service, Steve Bianco, Senior Commercial Lender at Savings Bank of Walpole (SBW), is retiring.
Under Bianco’s leadership, Savings Bank of Walpole experienced significant loan growth, with more than $400 million in loans—a 300 percent increase according to a news release.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bianco was instrumental in securing over $55 million in federal Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funds, helping both local businesses and the community navigate difficult financial times.
With Bianco’s retirement, Savings Bank of Walpole has promoted Amy Lehr to senior vice president and senior commercial lender. Lehr has been with the bank’s commercial lending department for more than 20 years, most recently serving as senior vice president of credit and administration.
