KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) -The Keene Sidewalk Replacement Project is set to move to Winchester Street starting Friday, Aug. 2.

The City’s contractor will begin excavation work at Butler Court, progressing toward Winchester Court in preparation for new sidewalk construction.

From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., there may be temporary disruptions to driveways, but all businesses in the area will remain open and accessible. The contractor will work closely with nearby property owners, and encourages everyone in the vicinity to stay informed about construction developments and adjust their travel plans as needed. The work is anticipated to last approximately two weeks.

Pedestrians should be cautious of uneven surfaces, and drivers on Winchester Street are advised to slow down and exercise extra caution to ensure the safety of workers and equipment in the area.
