STODDARD, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) A vehicle crash near the intersection of Route 9 and Route 123 South left one driver injured early Tuesday morning.
According to the Stoddard Fire Department, the car ended up in a resident’s yard with significant side damage. The driver had already been helped out of the vehicle by passing motorists before emergency crews arrived.
Firefighters and emergency medical personnel provided care at the scene. The driver was then transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment. A DHART helicopter was initially dispatched but later canceled as ground transport was deemed sufficient.
Fire Chief Steve Rockwell thanked the citizens who assisted at the scene, as well as responding agencies including Cheshire County EMS and the New Hampshire State Police.
