DUBLIN, N.H. – (MyKeeneNow) A skateboarder was seriously injured in an accident in Dublin late this morning.
Dublin Fire & Rescue responded to a call at 139 Old Marlborough Road just before 11:30 a.m. There they found the 22-year-old man with his skateboard in the road, unconscious. It was determined he sustained a serious head injury and DHART was requested. There were no witnesses to the accident. The patient was transported to Concord Hospital. No further information about his condition was available.
“He had some road rash (cuts and scrapes) but it was the head injury we were most concerned about,” said Dublin Fire Chief Thomas Vanderbilt.
The man was flown to Concord Hospital from the baseball field of the Fairwood Bible Institute in Dublin, according to Vanderbilt.
Peterborough Fire & Rescue as well as Dublin, Harrisville and Marlborough police departments also responded to the scene.
Dublin Police Master Patrolman Brandon Blair said the man is not a Dublin resident but he couldn’t release his name until he spoke to Chief Timothy Suokko.
