(MyKeeneNow) Authorities in Milford, New Hampshire, are intensifying their investigation into the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old man, Gage Cassen of Derry, whose death was confirmed as a homicide following an autopsy. Officials said Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Mitchell Weinberg determined Cassen died from a single gunshot wound to the back. The shooting occurred outside a Dollar General store on Wilton Road on the evening of November 7.
According to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office and State Police, emergency responders were called to the scene around 8:26 p.m. after a report of gunfire. Officers arriving at the location discovered signs of multiple shots fired in the parking lot. They later found Cassen’s body behind the store, marking a tragic turn for the typically quiet area.
As investigators continue to piece together the events leading up to Cassen’s death, they are seeking help from the public.
