KEENE, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) – A sports bar and restaurant in Downtown Keene is set to expand into a newly vacated space in Central Square.

Last week Fritz Belgian Fries moved from its location at 45 Central Square to the former Panera Bread space at 294 West Street in Keene, leaving the space next to The Pour House on Central Square vacant.

Owner Dorrie Masten says The Pour House will expand into the former Fritz space.

“Parents can enjoy a meal with their children and potentially linger a bit longer while the kids engage in video games, pinball, or pool,” Masten said in a Facebook post. She said there will also be multiple TV’s for sports games, along with live music performances and bingo/trivia events.

In a text message Wednesday night, Masten said there’s no set date for the opening of the expanded space.

“We’re waiting on some equipment for the kitchen as well as having the games arrive.  We can’t do that until after the floor has been sealed which will be next week,” she said. “For now they’re working on the floors and painting the ceiling so we can start to set out furniture.”
