(MyKeeneNow) – Tommy Kempf, 28, of Keene, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024. He was at the home of his twin brother Bruce and his mother Lynn.

Tommy graduated from Keene High School in 2014, and was a member of the Blackbirds’ tennis team. Prior to that he attended Keene Middle School, Jonathan Daniel’s Elementary School, and he was also home-schooled. Tommy worked many different jobs during his life, but he most enjoyed working as a lift operator for Crotched Mountain Ski Resort in Bennington, N.H. and also at Stratton Ski Resort in Vermont.

Tommy was a gentle and loving soul. His loss is mourned by his family and many friends who remember his exuberant personality (Ahoy!!) and how he could light up a room with his presence. These were his most precious gifts- he was kind, did not judge and freely expressed his love for others.

Survivors include his mother, Lynn; two brothers, Zachary and Bruce; his father, John; and “Nana” Lana Niegocki.

He was and is loved beyond measure, and his memory will be treasured forever. He was a beautiful boy.

Services will be planned at the Monadnock View Cemetery and a Celebration of Life at the Nazarene Church in Keene, at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be directed to The Circle of Gratitude (www.cheshiremed.org/chf/circle-gratitude) or to The Doorway (www.thedoorway.nh.gov/doorway-cheshire-medical-center) in Tommy’s honor.

The Fletcher Funeral Home of Keene is entrusted with Tommy’s care. To leave a memory or send the family condolences, visit www.fletcherfuneralhome.com.
