MONADNOCK REGION, N.H. (MyKeeneNow) As Halloween approaches, get ready for a thrilling lineup of festive activities across the area! From spooky events to family-friendly trick-or-treating, here’s your guide to all the Halloween fun scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 31.

Trick-or-treating hours

5-7 p.m.

  • Chesterfield, Gilsum, Hancock, Harrisville, Keene, Peterborough, Surry, Swanzey, Brattleboro (Downtown Brattleboro will host “BrattleBOO” with store-to-store trick-or-treating and trunk or treat in the back parking lot of the Gibson-Aiken Center)

5:30-7:30 p.m.

  • Dublin, Fitzwilliam, Marlborough, Marlow

5 to 8 p.m.

  • Charlestown, Troy, Winchester

4:30 to 8 p.m.

  • Rindge

4:30 to 9 p.m.

  • Hinsdale (10 p.m. curfew)

Starting at 5 p.m.

  • Westmoreland

4 to 6 p.m. (downtown businesses) and town-wide 6 to 8 p.m.

  • Jaffrey

No set time

  • Alstead, Bellows Falls, Brattleboro, Nelson, Walpole

Trunk-or-treat 

  • Alstead, 5 to 7 p.m. at the Millot Green parking lot. More information can be found at the Alstead Police Department Facebook page.

Parades

  • Bellows Falls: The village costume parade will start at 2 p.m. and go around Central School.
  • Brattleboro: The Horribles Parade kicks off at 6 p.m. in the Brattleboro Co-op parking lot. More information can be found at the Brattleboro town website.
